NORWOOD, MAFebruary 20, 2007 – Domain Home, lifestyle and home furnishings experts, is doing more than selling furniture these days.  The Company has undergone a dramatic makeover, expanded their product lines, and emerged as a sophisticated shopping destination for the home that includes a culinary venue known as ‘The Aga Shop’.  The new Domain Home location at Burlington Wayside Commons is a new model for the company that features designer looks for every room in the home, custom option programs, and premium brand Aga cookers and refrigeration from the U.K.  Domain Home will kick off its new look and grand opening celebration on March 1st at 3:00 PM during a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Burlington Chamber of Commerce, special friends and supporters.

Company CEO, Judy George, “We are very excited about this new location and creating a unique shopping experience for our customer.  We want to invite the community to join us for our celebration March 1-4, and especially to sign up for our Dream Room Giveaway.”

Soprano’s star, Joe ‘Vito’ Gannascoli will be making a special appearance on March 1st cooking up recipes from his new book, ‘A Meal to Die For’ and telling some behind the scenes Soprano’s stories.  More cooking events are planned throughout the weekend with other notable chefs, Kevin Crawley of famed Coriander Bistro and Helene Spoto of Helene’s Custom Cuisine.

The evolution of style at Domain Home began with a goal to offer more choices to its customer who appreciates a designer’s touch in their home.   Those choices include everything from customizable hand crafted furnishings to the legendary Aga, known as the Rolls Royce of cookers.  The Domain Home showrooms, best known for their romantic and intimate room settings, now boast working kitchens in many of their locations giving the customer an inviting and desirable shopping experience.

While the Company has pared down their show floors to convey a ‘less is more’ look for their updated lifestyle collections, the product selection is its most robust yet.  The ‘Designer Choices’ program offers custom made upholstery in 150 style combinations and over 300 fabrics, and added layers of luxury include down blend pillows, throws and a new custom drapery program for Burlington.  Hand crafted dining rooms, bedrooms, media units, home office, and storage solutions are also offered in many styles, sizes, finishes and configurations empowering the customer to design just the look they want for their home and lifestyle.

Domain Home was acquired in 2002 by Aga.  The Company is an upscale retailer of unique and high quality home furnishings and is now the top ranked Aga dealer in the U.S.  The combination of Aga and Domain Home, two premium lifestyle brands, position the Company as the first specialty retail chain in the U.S. to offer upscale consumers a total approach to the home.

Currently, 11 of the company’s 27 locations feature Aga demonstration kitchens.  For more information on Domain Home and the Aga showroom nearest you, visit www.domain-home.com.
