April 10, 2006 Norwood, MA – Judy George, founder and CEO of Domain Home Fashions, lifestyle and home furnishings experts, has been named CEO of Aga Home Group.  The newly formed consumer brands division of Aga Foodservice Group unites three powerhouse brands – Domain Home Fashions, Aga Retail and Grange, with a focus on building a retail concept that offers premium lifestyle and home furnishings choices through its 34 retail outlets and 14 showrooms.

“This is an exciting new dimension in home fashion and retail,” says George.  “The talent of the creative team with a vision for this luxury lifestyle abounds as Domain and Grange are added to the Aga family of brands.” 

Aga Home products will include private label luxury hand-crafted furniture from Grange, the leading French furniture manufacturer and retailer, and an expanded line of custom made Aga premium brand cookers and cookware from Britain.  The luxury lines will be showcased in signature galleries and cook shops within all Domain stores as well as Grange showrooms and new stand-alone retail locations.

“The American consumer is constantly evolving.  Our team’s combined experience brings creative insight that will allow us to stay ahead of the curve in fashion and design,” said Valerie Moran, Aga Home’s new Vice President for Marketing, Fashion & Brand Development, and acting CEO for Grange.  “Our ability to innovate and create luxurious design for all types of lifestyles will definitely impact the way consumers think about their homes.”

Joining the team in April as Vice President and General Merchandise Manager is Gary Edge.  Gary has over 20 years of furniture industry experience with companies such as Bloomingdale's, Conrans-Habitat and ABC Carpet & Home.  He was most recently Vice President of Furniture Design for Macy's Home Store. “The Aga Home concept is exciting as it combines an unusual depth of vision across three international brands.  We look forward to moving deeper into the home as we expand into kitchen, bath and outdoor offerings,” said Edge.

Judy George feels the time is right, now more than ever, for the creation of this new family of brands.  Says George, “I couldn’t be more thrilled at the creative energy flowing through Aga Home.  We are working hard to build Aga Home into a place where ideas, innovation, creativity and passion are brought to life.”

Domain Home Fashions was acquired in 2002 by Aga. The majority holding in Grange was acquired by Aga in 2005.  Aga Foodservice Group PLC, designs, manufactures, and retails successful consumer and commercial brands. The premier brand in the consumer portfolio is the legendary Aga stove. Well known in the U.K. for superior craftsmanship, timeless design and consumer led product development, Aga enjoys tremendous brand recognition and has a rich heritage dating back over 70 years.
