DOMAIN CELEBRATES ON NEWBURY STREET

Helps turn dreams into reality for the families of Project Hope

 
Norwood, MA, November 26, 2002: Domain, a leading home furnishings retailer for 17 years, is reaching out to support Boston’s Project Hope during a special Grand Re-Opening celebration of Domain’s Newbury Street store, Friday, December 6th at 6:00 pm.

The event will showcase the store’s updated look and raise funds to help Project Hope construct a new job training and education center. Hostess for the evening’s festivities will be Judy George, Domain Founder and CEO.

“Domain and Project Hope both share a tremendous appreciation for the importance of home,” said George. “Together, we can greatly improve the quality of life for parents and children throughout our community.”

Guests of the celebration will each receive a complimentary gift, enjoy hors d’oeuvres and refreshments, plus have an opportunity to win exciting prizes donated by Bailey, Banks & Biddle, the Ritz-Carlton/Boston, Maggiano’s, Kaps The Men’s Store, Sephora, Max Mara, Elizabeth Grady, Domain and many more.

Domain was founded in 1985, and today has 27 stores from Boston to Washington, D.C. Last March, it became a subsidiary of British-based Aga Foodservice Group.

Project Hope helps low income and homeless families achieve self-sufficiency through an integrated continuum of services, from crisis intervention to child care, basic and higher education and job training programs.
